Ray, who was born in the Philippines, earned his MBA in Madrid, Spain where his father was assigned as an ambassador. In 1960, his father was re-assigned to Chicago, Illinois where Ray established his own family and successful business, much of which was construction related. His extensive educational and business background, combined with his vast travels taught him the importance of personal service and attention, which he has inspired in his company. This more personal approach has benefited the hundreds of satisfied customers to date.

Felson Homes is first and foremost, a family-owned and operated company. Although Ray passed away in 2007, his continued influence on business operations is obvious in the harmony of the company. Frances, his wife, is the Color and Design Manager and has been with Felson Homes since it's inception. His son, Michael, who joined in 1993, is the General Manager and President of the company. Michael's wife Jerilyn has been the Comptroller for 7 years. Son-in-Law Michael Simmons joined in 2004 and is the Construction Manager and Vice President.
